I AM- poem by Makenna Carlson

I am a horse lover
I wonder what my future will be
I hear my baby sister screaming
I see leaves ruffling in the breeeze
I want a horse
I am a horse lover

I pretend to ride horses
I feel thoughtful and joyful
I touch warm blankets and soft pillows
I worry I'm going to get hit by a car again
I cry when relatives die
I am a horse lover

I understand that desperate dreams don't always happen
I say work hard and get a good education
I dream of having a huge horse ranch
I try to earn enough money for horse camp
I hope to become a famous jockey
I am a horse lover

You've got a little poet on your hands! That is really good!

So sweet. It's sad that she is worried about getting hit by a car again. Fix the spelling of the last line in the second stanza.
